One of the things we love about our blog is that we get to share some of the gorgeous dessert tables we come across with you. And this table, styled by Thetis of Little Sooti and shot by Laura Cioccia Photography would have to be one of my favourites to date! Done in the theme of the story of Little Red Riding Hood, this table captures the wonder and imagination of a favourite childhood tale just beautifully.
The detail in this table is just stunning. Thetis created a very earthy and fairytale-ish feel with her wood stump stands and scatterings of moss across the table. The desserts all looked divine but my favourites had to be the macaron apple's and the gorgeously wrapped Chocolate Bars from "Dark Woods Chocolates.... all the better for eating, my dear".
Oh, and we do just LOVE those glittered mushroom cupcake toppers!
We especially loved the boldness of the red against the earthiness of the moss covered trees behind it. There were plenty of red details such as beautiful red blossoms, bags of apples, red books on which lay hand-made party favours and red frames hung on trees. The table was simply decorated with a pink and red hand made bunting which sat perfectly against the natural backdrop of the almost wood looking tablecloth.
The table was styled for a shoot for an online magazine called 'Tickle the Imagination'
You can see more pictures and get all the credits here. Well done to Little Sooti and all those who contributed to such a divinley adorable table!
Love
